We had a great time going out to the Drive-In! We got there early and there were about 25 to 30 cars ahead of us. The sun was out, there was a band playing. Our grillmaster brought brats from home. It got dark, and cold! Then the movie. We didn’t stay for Spider-Man, but still had a great time.
Travel back in time as we enter the 1950’s when drive-ins dotted the U.S. at the Cascade in West Chicago to see Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp on Saturday, July 7th.
The movie doesn’t start til sunset but if you want a good spot, get there early (gates open at 6:30). You can bring all the snacks and non-alcoholic beverages you want to make this movie experience fun and enjoyable.
If the weather is bad, our go to backup plan is the Classic Cinemas at Charlestowne.

Join us at the Cinemark @ Seven Bridges in Woodridge for Ghostbusters. We will be seeing the 3:15 pm show and go to the local Buffalo Wild Wings afterward.
Thanks to Josh and April for hosting a fun evening at their house. We watched the Dr. Strange, X-Men Apocalypse, and of course the Rogue One trailers before diving into TFA!
On Saturday, May 7th, we will be make the trek to the Cascade Drive-In in West Chicago to see Captain America and Jungle Book. Unfortunately, the McHenry Outdoor Theater does not have, Captain America: Civil War and Star Wars The Force Awakens, so we will be going to the Cascade instead.
The blu-ray has arrived. Time to watch it with your fellow CF’ers! Meet up on Saturday, April 30th at the home of Joshua Stechschulte at 6 p.m. We will be chipping in for pizza. Contact Joshua on Facebook for directions!
