For those around since the prequels, I used to host an annual BBQ at my house in Streamwood. Now, having moved yet again, I have the space and means to restart this tradition.
I’ll have the usual grilled eats, such as burgers and chicken. I’ll just ask for my guests to post on the Facebook invite, what kind of side or beverage you can bring to share. And, if you do remember the old barbecues….NO CHIPS!! – Mark

On Saturday July 11th, Chicago Force had their Annual BBQ in Skokie. It rained a bit, but that didn’t stop us. We grilled, ate yummy food, goofed around, and devoted a lot of time to watching trailers from San Diego Comic Con. Of course the behind-the-scenes Star Wars video was our favorite. It was a great time.
It’s that time of year again, the weather is hot…well, it IS summer, despite the weather. So time to join us at the summer BBQ.
Join us in Skokie at 3 p.m. on July 11th for our annual BBQ! Come one come all and enjoy geeking out with your fellow Star Wars fans. Bring a dish to share. Don’t worry, we have the chips covered.
On August 17th, Chicago Force braved the Black Maw and went to Twin Lakes Wisconsin for the Chicago Force BBQ.
We sat and talked movies, had great food from our Grillmaster Mark, went on a boat ride and just had a ton of fun!

The Annual Chicago Force Summer BBQ was a great time to hang out, relax, bash politicians, and share in all things Geek. Just don’t walk into the wrong conversation if you want to stay away from movie spoilers!
