On September 3rd going into September 4th, Chicago Force will be heading out on a Toy Run. The new Force Awakens toys will be released then. Join us for a late dinner at Omega’s in Lombard at 9:30 p.m. and then we are off to the Toys R Us in Downers Grove, with a trip to the Disney Store in Oakbrook Center thrown in.

On August 22nd, Chicago Force met to discuss Dark Disciple by Christie Golden. We met in the beautiful new Maggie Daley park. We enjoyed the great weather and the great discussion.
Join us at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 22 for an outdoor book club and some outdoor fun. We will be discussing Dark Disciple by Christie Golden and then enjoying one of the newest parks in Chicago.

Join us on Saturday, July 25th at the Barnes & Noble Village Crossing. At 1 p.m. we discuss Lords of the Sith by Paul S. Kemp and then see Ant-Man afterward.
On Saturday July 11th, Chicago Force had their Annual BBQ in Skokie. It rained a bit, but that didn’t stop us. We grilled, ate yummy food, goofed around, and devoted a lot of time to watching trailers from San Diego Comic Con. Of course the behind-the-scenes Star Wars video was our favorite. It was a great time.
It’s that time of year again, the weather is hot…well, it IS summer, despite the weather. So time to join us at the summer BBQ.

Chicago Force attended the Joliet Public Library’s Star Wars Day 6 on Saturday June 6th. The events included a parade and a lot of costumed characters.
Chicago Force will be attending to participate in all the fun activities. We will also have a table at the Library so stop on by to say hi!
