2018 Zoo Tree Trim

On Sunday, November 18th, we braved the cold to decorate our tree at Brookfield Zoo. Look below to find photos, but first let us present how we got our decorations. Or how I like to put it:

Tree Trim 2017

Another year, another trip to Brookfield Zoo to decorate a tree with homemade Star Wars ornaments.

First, the making of the baubles:

: TK-1225, why aren’t you at your tree?

: Some bling, or should I say ring!

: Forget the Eye of Sauron

: The first ornaments are away!

: Our lovely assistant.

It was a sunny but chilly day on Sunday:

: A bright sunny day!

: World Famous

: Not our tree.

: TREE-196 reporting for duty!

And we were ready to decorate:

: Rockin’ around the Christmas tree

: At the Christmas party hop

: Mistletoe hung where you can see

: Every couple tries to stop

: Rockin’ around the Christmas tree

: Let the Christmas spirit ring

: Later we’ll have some pumpkin pie

: And we’ll do some caroling

: You will get a sentimental feeling when you hear

: Voices singing, let’s be jolly

: Deck the halls with boughs of holly

: Rockin’ around the Christmas tree

: Have a happy holiday

: Everyone dancin’ merrily

: In the…NEW…OLD…FASHIONED…

Tree Trim 2016!

Winter arrived the weekend of the Tree Trim, but that didn’t stop Chicago Force. We came, we trimmed, we ran to Tropic World as soon as possible to warm up. Check it all out!

Tree Trim Weekend 2015

On Saturday, November 21st, we gathered at the home of Mark Franklin to make ornaments for the tree trim. Supplies included paint, brushes and a lot of newspaper.

Brookfield Zoo Tree Trim 2015

We would be honored if you would join us for Brookfield Zoo’s Tree Trim. Chicago Force will have our own tree to decorate. We will provide the ornaments and you will bring the fun. We will decorate on November 22nd. Our tree is number 397, located on the West Mall, between the Pachyderm House and Tropic World. We will meet there at one in the afternoon.
